The Hurlcon – AstralPool HX gas heater range is by far the most popular gas heaters to use on spas and swim spas. Its clean, compact design, easy digital thermostat control makes this the heater of choice. One of the great benefits of the HX heaters is they don’t break the budget with running costs as they only require 70-120 megajoule’s of gas to operate them. The HX heaters is available in two sizes, either the 70 or the 120 megajoule size and in either NAT or LPG.

HX heaters are considered full flow heaters and are generally plumbed in PVC pipe whereas WX or Wilton 75 heaters are considered bypass heaters, plumbed in flexible 20mm hose. They are the same physical size as the HX heater.
